# Mt Pinbarren Bush walking

Hi Everyone, just wondering has anyone walked/climbed Mt Pinbarren on the Sunshine coast, is it accessible?

Although I have never attempted Mt Pinbarren, I was out that way last year and could not work out a way in. However subsequent research indicated that it is accessible, all be it with some difficulty.

I found this comment from 2022 in Wikiloc: ‘_Absolute mission, no signs of a track, very loose rocky surface, spikey and stingy things. Wouldn’t recommend, ha ha_.’ The GPS track posted shows the start of the walk was from the back of Noosa Hinterland Mountain Retreat, off Binalong Road. Other bits I have read say you need to get permission from landowners to get access.
