Hi People … did an overnight at Thilba Thalba camp which is part of the Queensland Sunshine Coast great walk … as night crept over us we saw a marsupial … approx 15 CMS body and same for tail … initially had our red leds on , and it came foraging nearly to our feet … now for the exciting part ( well I think so ) as it was moving away ( some 3 meters ) I turned on my Normal leds … OMG ! ! ! its tail blossomed to approx 5 cms in diameter and was an absolute brilliant iridescent deep turquoise in colour … a most beautiful sight … the animal kept poking around quite merrily … what a time for the phone battery to be low and charging in tent … the closest I could research was the following … https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brush-tailed_phascogale … would appreciate any feed back Ted
